About Me
-Zachary Cuppy-
Hi, I'm Zach.
Working in learning and development my whole career, I have a passion for creating and designing engaging experiences that push learners to develop the capabilities and knowledge necessary for growth. As an Elementary Educator I had opportunities to create various learning programs, engage with learners and families (stakeholders), develop and oversee projects at the school and district level, as well as analyze learner data to give actionable insights and interventions.
As I moved into the corporate world, I started with WageWorks as a Corporate Trainer and helped develop the curriculum for and lead the team on our flagship platform. Training several departments and classes, I honed my skills in facilitation, and enhanced my understanding of learner behavior, in both a virtual and in-live space.
As the company went through a merger shortly before COVID, I answered the call for a Culture and Engagement Specialist, someone that could help engage and connect the entire company during the difficult transition. During my tenure, not only did I create virtual company wide-engagement events and hosted a regular standing company-wide show with the Chief Operating Officer. On top of engagement, I also created a Reward and Recognition program, oversaw the implementation and recommendations from the annual companywide engagement survey, and helped craft, share, and amplify the company mission, vision, and values.
With my heart always wanting to bring out the best in everyone, I returned to the L&D department as a Learning Experience Designer III. During my time I have created many training programs and eModules but I am most proud of my revamp of the company’s entire Member Service training program, to better fit the needs of its new virtual workforce. This revamp included everything from coaching, to engagement, to Brand management. I worked as the learning consultant and head designer on the project and implemented new, diverse, and innovative strategies that enhance the hybrid & virtual training reality.
